I absolutely loved the Lantern Room! Walking in was an experience in itself, with its vibe setting the perfect mood for the evening. The staff were welcoming, especially Dennis, who greeted us with a warm smile. I ordered the pea pasta, which I was able to get vegetarian, and it exceeded my expectations. The grilled avocado accompanied by Bokchoi and coconut rice was unique and delicious. Make sure to visit during sunset to truly appreciate the view and ambiance.

Great location with amazing views

Staying in an oceanfront room was a dream come true! The sound of waves crashing outside was the perfect soundtrack to my getaway. While the room was compact, the ocean view made it all worth it. The bed was comfortable and the room was equipped with a nice TV that allowed casting. There were plenty of towels, but I do wish they provided robes for easier access to the pool.

Wonderful Lobby & Restaurant

I enjoyed spending time in the lobby, which boasted beautiful ocean views. The restaurant had a well-curated drink menu and a cozy atmosphere. While I had a bit of an off experience with my cocktail, the server was trying his best, and I appreciated his hard work. Even with some hiccups, the food was enjoyable, making it a great place to unwind after a day of exploring.

Great Gym Facilities

The gym at the hotel was a pleasant surprise! It was well-equipped with a variety of exercise machines, including Peloton bikes, which I really enjoyed using. I had a mixed experience at Monterey Tides. On one hand, the ocean views are absolutely breathtaking, and the beach access is unbeatable. On the other hand, my initial room experience was disappointing due to noise and cleanliness issues. The staff tried to help, but overall, it didn’t quite meet my expectations for a romantic getaway.
